Electreon

In partnership with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), Electreon is piloting static and dynamic wireless electric-vehicle (EV) charging integration in roadways around Michigan Central. There will be a static deployment between Michigan Central Station and the Newlab at Michigan Central Building. On 14th Street, Electreon will be testing wireless technology that charges moving vehicles. The initial use cases that will be tested are a shuttle moving people and a vehicle testing package delivery.

Pilot period: December 2023 (planned installation)
